Vibration and resonance damping material is based on the same mastic as Silent Coat. Multilayer material has got a reinforced but soft (even at below zero temperatures) composite-bitumen layer that increases system weight and stiffness to kill resonance frequencies of sheet metal or plastic parts. The material is designed to make material more like original car manufacture material but the mastic glue layer gives to this material much better resonance deadening and gluing properties.
